Let’s start with our cover boy Banky W. This
award winning R&B crooner was born Olubankole Wellington 32 years
ago in the US. He spent his childhood in Nigeria but returned to the US
to attend college. In 2008, Banky W, as he is popularly know, returned
to Nigeria to make his contributions to the Nigerian music industry, and
he has done just that! He created the Empire Mates Entertainment
(E.M.E) record label which has Wizkid and Skales signed to it. His
latest singles “Yes/No” and “Low Key” were released earlier this year
and are no doubt some of his best work yet.
